The Jason Panich Memorial Bursary

In recognition of Jason’s spirit, personality, talent and passion, the Panich family created the Jason Panich Memorial Bursary. This bursary is awarded annually to a current student of the Theatre Department who exemplifies Jason’s values and ethics, and who is deemed in need of financial assistance in order to continue their studies.

Distribution of Funds: Winter semester
The Panich family created The Jason Panich Memorial Scholarship in memory of Jason Panich who profoundly touched many with his heart, spirit and smile between September 2000 and March 2001. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating acting student of the Theatre Department who exemplifies Jason’s values, ethics and passion for the performing arts.

The Rubin and So Foundation Bursary Program

Distribution of Funds: Recurrent if deemed to be qualified
John Abbott College Alumni Delia So and Rick Rubin wish to provide funding to support full-time or deemed full-time students who need financial assistance in order to continue their studies.

Sauvé Family Paramedic Bursary

Distribution of Funds: Fall semester
The Sauvé Family (the Donor) wishes to offer a bursary to a full-time or deemed full-time John Abbott College student who is registered in the Paramedic program and has demonstrated financial need to continue their studies.

FOR STUDENTS IN PARAMEDIC ONLY
- Must be a full-time or deemed full-time student registered in the Paramedic program
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must demonstrate financial need to continue their studies
- Students must write a letter of introduction outlining their interest in the Paramedic program. The letter should also describe any challenges or obstacles they are facing or have faced in the pursuit of their education as well as how this bursary will help.
Stef Dobranski Bursary

Distribution of Funds: Fall semester
This bursary is to provide support to a student who has demonstrated financial need to continue their studies and is registered in a career program, preferably in the Paramedic program.

- Must demonstrate financial need to continue their studies
- Preference will be given to a student who is registered in the Paramedic program
- Students must write a letter of introduction, describing any challenges or obstacles they are facing or have faced in the pursuit of their education, as well as how this bursary will help. The letter should also outline their interest in the career program in which they are registered.
